Fundación COTEC para la Innovación is a Spanish private non-profit foundation established in 1990 that promotes innovation as a driver of economic and social development, with King Felipe VI as Honorary President. It convenes around 90 member companies, regional governments, and local administrations and serves as Spain's leading observatory of research and innovation policy. COTEC is a co-organizer of the Urban Leaders Meeting held alongside Greencities 2026 in Málaga in September.
