MESSE ESSEN GmbH operates the Essen exhibition grounds in the Ruhr region and organises trade fairs and congresses across energy, security, horticulture and leisure. Its best-known technology event is E-world energy & water, the European trade fair for the energy industry, which brings utilities, grid operators, energy traders and energy-software vendors to Essen each February.
