Equal1
About
Equal1 is a University College Dublin spin-out that builds rack-mounted, silicon-spin quantum computers using standard semiconductor manufacturing processes, making quantum computing practical for data centres without cryogenic infrastructure. Its Bell-1 server, named after Belfast physicist John Stewart Bell, is already deployed by the European Space Agency. The company raised $60 million in January 2026, led by Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and Atlantic Bridge, bringing total funding to $85 million. Equal1 has also partnered with NVIDIA to develop quantum-classical hybrid solutions.
