The company specialises in neural machine translation, multilingual virtual assistants, and speech technologies for low-resource European languages. In 2025 it released TildeOpen LLM — a 30-billion-parameter open-source large language model covering 34 European languages, trained on the LUMI supercomputer after winning the European Commission's Large AI Grand Challenge with a €250,000 prize and 2 million GPU hours.
