The Centre serves as Latvia's primary collaborative platform for AI research, ethics, governance, Latvian language preservation in AI systems, and technology commercialisation, and is a principal organiser of the AI Connect 2026 conference.

One of two European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) in Latvia, the Latvian Digital Innovation Hub supports companies through digital transformation via digital maturity assessments, personalised training programmes, and expert consultancy.
