Estimote is a Kraków-founded IoT company that pioneered the Bluetooth-beacon category for indoor proximity, micro-location, and workplace safety. Co-founded by Jakub Krzych and Łukasz Kostka, with early backing from Polish operator-angels including Andrzej Targosz and the Netguru founders (Schmidt, Filipowski), Estimote went on to raise from US investors and pivoted toward workplace and wearable safety devices used by major enterprises.
